Searles Leisure Resort welcomes guests of all abilities and is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment. This access statement has been developed to help address potential accessibility considerations during your stay. We strive to ensure that all guests, employees, and visitors are treated with respect, fairness, and according to their individual needs.

Arrival

The resort main entrance is located on South Beach Road; there is level access from the road, along the driveway and into the automatic front doors of the Reception. We have an accessible parking bay located outside the front of our reception, and an additional space located to the rear of the main complex opposite our crazy golf course.

Reception

Check in at Reception has seats available should this be more convenient for the guest. 

Public Areas

The public areas including the bars, restaurants, La Piazza, arcades, sports bar and swimming pools are all located on the ground floor. We are also pleased to offer remote ordering in The Beach Hut and Ambers Bar & Grill. Allowing you to order and pay for food and drink from your smartphone to be delivered by our team to your table. 

Public WC’s

Accessible toilets are located in the Club house, and various toilets blocks on the park, these are accessible with a Radar key (which can be obtained from reception). Level access is provided or ramps. All are fitted with grab rails and alarms. Baby changing facilities are also located in the accessible WC’s.

Guest Accommodation

We have five designated accessible accommodations on resort with extra features to assist your access and comfort. These units come with ramped access, wide entrance doors, low level light switches, power socket by the bed and transfer space.  Bathrooms provide level entry showers with grab rails and fold down seats. In addition to our Easy Access range of accessible accommodation we also have several units with ramped access. Our team are able to offer advice and guidance on which accommodation might best suit your needs, and we recommend calling them on 01485 534211 for booking assistance.

Swimming Pools

We are pleased to have a seated hoist that can be utilised by guests and visitors to access our swimming pools. Please enquire with a member of our leisure team who will be happy to assist.

Guide Dogs

Registered guide dogs are welcome in all our venues including accommodation. We have a selection of pet-friendly accommodation available. If you do wish to book accommodation outside of this range please notify our reservations team when bookings by calling 01485 534211 .
