When it comes to family fun, there’s little better than getting out into the fresh air for a host of games, crafts and activities. The Adventure Playground at Thursford
Here’s a great shout for anyone with kids that are full of energy in the holidays. Discover a whole host of climbing frames, jumps, slides and a zip wire. It’s all part of the fun at Thursford. Flex your “mussels” with a taste of Norfolk Seafood
It’s not the warmest time of year on the East coast, but it’s certainly a great time for foodies to visit Norfolk. This is especially true for those who like seafood, with Brancaster Mussels in peak season. Available at any number of pubs and restaurants, these are a tasty treat anywhere you find them (especially with a glass of white wine or cider, along with some freshly cooked chips to soak up the sauce!). Of course, fussier family members will love the excellent local fish and chips and other options too.
King’s Lynn Lumieres & Markets
Fancy a truly illuminating trip to one of Norfolk’s classic towns? As night falls each evening, a series of beautiful light shows are projected onto historic buildings at King's Lynn currently, bringing a real burst of colour to your visit. It’s also a fine shopping destination, especially if you hit the town on market days (usually Tuesdays and Saturdays). Find your wings at Titchwell Marsh
The huge sand flats and nature reserves of Norfolk make it the perfect place to become a “twitcher”. But if you’ve never done it before, where do you start?
